Karen is in charge of overseeing the strategic and day-to-day administrative functions of the organization. She is responsible for optimizing clinical workflows, improving operational efficiency, managing staff performance, ensuring regulatory compliance and plays a key role in aligning operational strategy with the organization's mission to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.

Richard Portillo

Technical Director, Ultrasound

Richard is our resident Sonographer and the Technical Director of all Ultrasound testing at the Center.

Nicole Vasaturo, PA-C

Physician Assistant, PA-C

Nicole, our Physician Assistant (PA), is a licensed healthcare professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. The PA is responsible for conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting in surgery, and prescribing medications. This role ensures continuity of care and supports physicians in delivering high-quality patient services.

Billing & Coding Manager

The Billing and Coding Manager oversees the daily operations of the medical billing and coding department. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate coding of medical procedures and diagnoses, timely and correct billing, compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimal reimbursement from insurance payers. The manager leads a team of coders and billers and serves as the liaison between clinical staff, administrative personnel, and external payers.
